Spotlight Dance Competition

Over this weekend I had my Spotlight dance competition. It was insane. I performed really well, but there was some rough spots. For example, a girl was throwing up so bad that she couldn't go on stage. Another girl had an asthma attack after a dance. Another girl got dropped on her butt on stage. It was pretty crazy but still we ended up doing really good. Our Jazz (Glitter) got the highest award and 4th place overall. Our Tap dance (It's Not Unusual) got the highest award and 3rd place overall. Our Contemporary dance (Seven Nation Army) got the second highest award. My hair afterwards was a mess. It was put into a bump and sprayed with Aqua Net, the stiffest hairspray ever. It was a pain to get out. Even a day later, my hair still smells like Aqua Net. I managed to take some pictures, though.

Lucky for me, I was able to collect our jazz awards and take pictures with them. Notice how this is my hair AFTER I brushed it.

Cash & Guns

Oh yes, Cash & Guns. This is an interesting but fun game. I know it sounds weird, but once you get to playing it, you can't help but say,''one more time!!!'' Cash & Guns is when everybody receives a foam gun. Then you point it at somebody and all this stuff goes down. Whoever doesn't get killed, gets money. Money makes you win. Guess who won the very first game??? ME!!!!! That's right, I surprisingly won. I couldn't believe it either.

Zombie Brother

One day after family home evening Ian left the room then came back looking like this. He randomly started acting like a Zombie. I just had to snap some pictures of him. It is so Ian. I know it will make you smile because I did. Or maybe it is a ''you had to be there'' moments.......

Go Away Sun!!!!

The past couple of days there has been the lovely weather of rain. I love the clouds and all the rain spilling down your window. It is like a breath of fresh air. However, on Thursday the sun started to show. :( I took pictures of the sun through the window at about 6:30 p.m. I just want the storms to come back!!!!

Happy Valentines Day!!!

Happy Valentines Day to everyone!!!! Or, as I say, Happy Single Awareness Day!!!! I am single and proud!!!! Even though I believe this holiday has gone very commercial, I still love all the heart shaped candies. For Valentines Day my parents got me a card, a Resses heart (which I don't have a picture of because I ate it so quick), and The Breaking Dawn Part 1 DVD. I LOVE that movie. Of course besides those things there are other romantic things you could do on Valentines Day. Such as roses and Pride & Prejudice movie night. Anyways, I hope you all had an amazing Valentines Day!!!!

Breaking Dawn is a great romantic movie for Valentines Day. I don't care what anybody says, but this is a great movie!!!

Or, if you prefer a toned down still amazingly romantic movie you have Pride & Prejudice. Boy, Mr. Darcey is soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo amazing and cute!!!!

Ballet Costume Arrival

Today we finally received my final costume, with a total of four costumes. I had a fun time trying it on. It is simply beautiful. I wish you could see the detail in it. I love it. I hope you really enjoy my pictures in this stunning blue and black poofy dress.

Candy Time!!!!

There is always something that makes my day no matter what. That thing is our holiday candy bags. My grandparents send us candy for certain holidays a couple times a year. On Tuesday, we received our bags in the mail for Valentines Day. They are always stuffed with candy. It made my day to see it so of course I took these pictures.

Latest Media Crazes

I wanted to share with you some of the latest things in the media that I have been loving.

To start off, the latest movie that I have been addicted to the soundtrack and the actual movie is (500) Days of Summer. The soundtrack consist of The Smiths, She & Him, and more!!!

Sneak Peak

I have a sneak peak for you guys. I have most of my dance costumes and I wanted to show you a little sneak peak of them. Once I get all my costumes, I will put them on and take pictures of them for you. Then, you will be able to see them full on. But, for now this is what you get.

They aren't the best pictures but sneak peaks aren't meant for the best quality stuff. You just can see all the fabrics and sparkle. Oh, yes lots of sparkle.
