First Day of School

Oh yes, the dreaded first day of school. I really only look forward to the fresh school year for the social part. Not really for the education....but whatever. This year was especially big for me because it was my first day or school in high school and seminary. I was scared at first, but was able to calm down in the morning. I don't know if it was being tired because I got up at 4:30 in the morning or the fact that I truly was calm but I was calm. I was able to make it through school and now absolutely love it!!! I love seminary too and it really is a fabulous way to start off my day. Below is a quote that I love about learning from Dieter F. Uchtdorf.

"For members of the Church, education is not merely a good idea - it's a commandment. We are to learn 'of things both in heaven and in the earth, and under the earth; things which have been, things which are, things which must shortly come to pass; things which are a thome, things which are abroad'
~Dieter F. Uchtdorf

It was a great day and I enjoy going to school. Just happy I was able to make it past the first day.

Random Pictures

Lately I have taken pictures with my friends and I. They all have been at different times during the month and I just haven't blogged them yet. So, here they are.

I was board in some of these so I just took them at random.

My lovely friend Rachel and I.

I don't see what the big deal is about these eye pictures. Why is everyone obsessed with taking just pictures of their eyes??? I honestly don't get it. So, I decided to do the same. You know, got to stay ''hip''.

Cupcakes With Friends

While I was over at the my friends house, one day, we decided to make cupcakes. Of course we had some problems with the frosting.......but it was fun. I took lots of pictures and had lots of fun making these!!!!!!

First we made the vanilla cupcakes.

Then this sort of turquoise icing. We ran into some problems with the powder sugar and vanilla, but we got perfect after some help......

Then put on icing.

And add these super cool silver sprinkles.

Then you get this beautiful cupcake. This is like the most perfect one cause we messed up lots of them. I feel proud of this one little cupcake.

Then.......EAT IT!!!! This is my cooking buddy.

It was a fun cupcake experience!!!

EFY!!!! :)

Ohhhh EFY. I freakin LOVED it. There really are no words to describe how much I loved EFY. I went with my great friend Katie. I meet so many great, amazing, inspirational people, shared lots of laughs, and my testimony grew tremendously. I really miss it right now. I really recommend EFY to everybody. This years theme was Arise and Shine Forth. Our group theme was Forever Honor. It was just such a great first year. I had an amazing experience. Maybe I can dictate how spectacular it was through my photos.

 My groups backpacks. oh ya........

This is my gansta buddy!!!

My smoothie-getting friend!!!

I asked for a picture and I got this look. Thanks....

Katie and me went to this amazing snow cone place and got a large. The large is HUGE. I can't believe we finished it.

This is my amazing group.

The girls. :)

The boys.

This really describes the boys.

Another girl in my group.

This picture describes Ryan and me. No, he's not hitting me.

A normal picture.

Some of the people in this group. Boy, do I love them.

Now, these three boys were the boys I mainly hung around. They made me laugh all the time. This picture is more like them then the other one.

My first escort.

These next picture are just Katie and me.

Me with my super hero talking-smoothie getting-trust falling-hilarious guys.

Hehe, I want some corn for my dorm.

Getting ice cream. This is the trip that bonded me with these and a couple other people.

Ya, pretty random one of me.

With my gansta buddy again.

My missionary companion.

This is my dorm room.

The girls across the hall from us.

The wristband.

These next few pictures are PIZZA NIGHT!!!!

Our beautiful feet.

This was my amazing counselor, Mitch a.k.a garbage can. Even though he used us to get a free snow cone, I loved hanging out with him.

My snow cone I downed in 10 minutes.

Two of the girls I loved, also.

Getting ready for the talent show. We did a missionary rap.

Still getting gansta-ready.

Dancing in my dorm. Summers sweet moves.

The wall of lotions. Gotta smell good for the boys. ;)

Some more girls from my group.

Me with my amazing counselor.

Singing Sons of Provo in the morning with Katie=priceless.

This is for you Haley. I wore my friendship Thor ring.

EFY was just so amazing. I loved every second of it and so miss it!!!!
