Happy Hunger Games!!!!

Happy Hunger Games everyone!!!! This Friday I went to see this amazing movie and let me just say, it is great!!!!! I LOVE Peeta. The directors really did a great job on the casting and developing the mood of the Hunger Games. The only thing I didn't like was the outfits Katniss and Peeta wear for the opening ceremony. It was really disappointing. Besides that, I love that movie SO much!!!! Word of advice: BRING TISSUES!!!!! I went with my family and two of my friends. Of course, I said this moment was blog worthy so I took pictures. The quote of the night was said by my brother Austin: Gosh!!! It's like a Hunger Games just to get into the movie theater!!!! Oh, yes it is Austin. It was pretty insane, people are like crazy!!!! Anyways, here are my pictures.

I prepared for this event in the morning by listening to the album. It is a really great album and the music fits perfectly into the movie. With the exception of 2 or 3 songs, I really enjoy listening to it.

These are my friends and me waiting in the movie theater. It is a dark picture, sadly. We were SOOOO excited we were squealing with joy when it started. Together we jumped out of our seats at the jumpy parts, bawled at the sad parts, and giggled at the Peeta parts!!! :)

Getting in the Mood for the Hunger Games

About 12 days left until the Hunger Games movie!!!! I am so excited and to show my excitement, I decided to do a post on ways to get in the mood for the Hunger Games. As most of you know, I stalk like 3 hunger games fan sites and have a lot of things to get you in the mood. So, here you go!!!

1. re-read the whole book or read it for the first time.



2. Get the soundtrack which comes out March 20.

Get all that crazy Hunger Games merchandise.

3. Or see funny hunger games things that you know will make you smile!!!

4. See all the Hunger Games videos over and over again. Which take forever to download, but just youtube them and you will see them!!!!

Now, I hope you are getting more and more excited for the hunger games!!!! I know I am.

Classic Game in our House

You all know those games that are just classics and when they are placed before you, you can't help but put your hands on them. Well, something arrived at our house a couple days ago. Rock em Sock em Robots. The game with the blue and red robots battling in the center of the arena. Well, my dad needed them for Primary. He has an Olympic theme going on and he wanted to do wrestling. So, he got this fun piece of equipment into our house. Oh, how the simplest of games (compared to all our crazy technology these days) brings the families together.

Young Women Pictures

As most of you know, I got my young women's medallion on Christmas Day. As a thing my parents do, they take portraits of you to hang up on,''the wall''. Well, my mom and I took our photographer (Marissa Moss) down to Town Square. I finally got back my pictures and here are some of my favorites.
