So You Think You Can Dance-My Top 5 Dances

My favorite show, So You Think You Can Dance has come to a sad conclusion. On a happy note, both of my dancers I wanted to win had won (Eliana and Chenon). I decided to celebrate the finale, I will do my top 5 dances from the season. Be prepared to be amazed, just as I was.

#5: This is a freakin amazing group dance choreographed by Sonya Tayeh and Christopher Scott. The dancers just looked absolutely stunning.

Next one is one of my favorite dancers, Will with Lauren. It's an amazing hip hope routine called Dance My Pains Away.

3rd on my list is Turning Page done by Tiffany and George. It's a beautiful contemporary piece that is amazing.

#4 is Bang Bang. Done by Eliana, one of the seasons winners and Alex. This piece is choreographed by the fabulous Stacey Tookie. This is a breathtaking contemporary dance that I just fell in love with.

Last off is my FAVORITE dance. This is the dance inspired off the Titanic. It's amazing and breathtaking and perfect!!! I just have watched it a million times. I can't get enough of it. So please watch it!!!

I hope you loved my top 5 dance highlights from So You Think You Can Dance just as much as I did. They are amazing and breathtaking. What a good season!!!

Real Life Pinterest-Cake Batter Fudge

I am trying to start this thing called Real Life Pinterest. When I take things from Pinterest and use them in real life. Because let's be honest, we pin so many things and never do them. So, I decided to take Pinterest Ideas and use them. Here is my first one-Cake Batter Fudge. You may have heard of it. Or not. It's a recipe from this one lady who takes cake batter and does all these amazing things with it. I managed to stumble upon on Pinterest, Cake Batter Fudge. It is actually very delicious and super sweat. The only problem, is I didn't make the batter thick enough so it was runny and floppy and took FOREVER to freeze. They did not turn out as fluffy as the pinterest version shows but maybe I just really need to make it thicker. So, here is is.

Pinterest Version:

My sad version.

Here is the recipe:
Ingredients
  • 1 cup yellow cake mix
  • 1 cup confectioners’ sugar
  • 1/2 stick (1/4 cup) butter or margarine, cut into small squares
  • 1/4 cup milk or 1/8 cup soy milk
  • sprinkles (optional)

Instructions
Mix cake mix and icing sugar in microwave-safe bowl. Add butter and milk. Don’t stir.

Microwave for 2 minutes. Stir immediately until completely combined. Add sprinkles. Do not overmix as sprinkle colour may bleed.

Spread into greased pan. Refrigerate for at least one hour.

* Makes one 6 x 6” container, or double for an 8 x 8” pan.
** Notes: If the batter comes out too runny, stir in about 1 tsp or sugar or cake mix at a time until stiff. If too thick to stir in all components, slowly add 1/2 tsp of milk at a time, but batter should be thick!

My New Room

Over the summer, I re-did my whole room. The purple and green went away and the yellow and gray came out!!! I recently put on the finishing touches (like picture frames and quotes) and now I am done. I took before and after pictures and just wanted to show you them. I absolutely love my new room. And my curtains that my mom so proudly says she made.
