Fire Pit!!!

My dad one day decided to make a fire pit. So, when he finished it he said I could have my friends over to cook smores after the homecoming game. It was actually really fun and pretty laid back. We had so much fun!!! I took little pictures because it was pretty dark, but here is some pictures.

Here's a few of my friends before the other's arrived.

Point Shoes!!!!!

In my dance life things have gotten very VERY exciting. I finally am able to go up on point. For people who don't know what point is, it's when you go up all the way onto your toes. I got my point shoes and am so excited to start. It's been a dream of mine. For those who have never seen people on point this is what it looks like:

But until then........this is what I look like with point shoes.

Well, that's my point shoes. More pictures once I'm actually up.

Football Game

Before I headed out to youth conference, I went to a football game the night before with some of my good friends. It was really a great high school experience. Even if my school (Centennial) lost. Anyways, I didn't take any picture during the game. But after Haley and I went to Five Guys Burgers and Fries. We couldn't help but take pictures especially since we were so fascinated by this place.

This is the amazing soda fountain. There's a touch screen where you choose your soda then what you click on leads you to like 50 other flavors of that soda. It's so cool and we totally loved it.

Us with together.

We ordered fries and this was haley's reaction when she saw how much they gave us.

Our fries. :)

The football game was so great. I had a fabulous time.

Youth Conference

A couple weekends ago I had the chance to go to Youth Conference. It was a really fun experience and I liked to be able to bond with my youth. We went to the Mormon fort, then cleaned up trash, then lastly headed over to our community pool to have a BBQ and swim. I took lots of pictures and had lots of enjoyable experiences.

Jenna bought a loli pop with a scorpion. I don't know how she did it but here's her picture after biting off a leg.

This is the only part of the original wall in this building. So we tried to sell it like in No or No deal.

They were trying to mimic the pictures of the people in the black and white pictures.

We sort of played with the artifacts so here's haley with the sewing machine.

Just hanging out.

Tesha, Dusty, and me.

Tesha had my camera and was like hey aubrey picture so I quickly turned around and gave her this pose.

Haley's amazing strength bent the tree.

Jenna just chillin in the background.

This is my favorite picture of the girls I hung out with.

I asked our tour guide to take a picture for me and he quickly turned it around and took a picture of himself. Thanks........it'll be good blackmail.

So You Think You Can Dance-My Top 5 Dances

My favorite show, So You Think You Can Dance has come to a sad conclusion. On a happy note, both of my dancers I wanted to win had won (Eliana and Chenon). I decided to celebrate the finale, I will do my top 5 dances from the season. Be prepared to be amazed, just as I was.

#5: This is a freakin amazing group dance choreographed by Sonya Tayeh and Christopher Scott. The dancers just looked absolutely stunning.

Next one is one of my favorite dancers, Will with Lauren. It's an amazing hip hope routine called Dance My Pains Away.

3rd on my list is Turning Page done by Tiffany and George. It's a beautiful contemporary piece that is amazing.

#4 is Bang Bang. Done by Eliana, one of the seasons winners and Alex. This piece is choreographed by the fabulous Stacey Tookie. This is a breathtaking contemporary dance that I just fell in love with.

Last off is my FAVORITE dance. This is the dance inspired off the Titanic. It's amazing and breathtaking and perfect!!! I just have watched it a million times. I can't get enough of it. So please watch it!!!

I hope you loved my top 5 dance highlights from So You Think You Can Dance just as much as I did. They are amazing and breathtaking. What a good season!!!

Real Life Pinterest-Cake Batter Fudge

I am trying to start this thing called Real Life Pinterest. When I take things from Pinterest and use them in real life. Because let's be honest, we pin so many things and never do them. So, I decided to take Pinterest Ideas and use them. Here is my first one-Cake Batter Fudge. You may have heard of it. Or not. It's a recipe from this one lady who takes cake batter and does all these amazing things with it. I managed to stumble upon on Pinterest, Cake Batter Fudge. It is actually very delicious and super sweat. The only problem, is I didn't make the batter thick enough so it was runny and floppy and took FOREVER to freeze. They did not turn out as fluffy as the pinterest version shows but maybe I just really need to make it thicker. So, here is is.

Pinterest Version:

My sad version.

Here is the recipe:
Ingredients
  • 1 cup yellow cake mix
  • 1 cup confectioners’ sugar
  • 1/2 stick (1/4 cup) butter or margarine, cut into small squares
  • 1/4 cup milk or 1/8 cup soy milk
  • sprinkles (optional)

Instructions
Mix cake mix and icing sugar in microwave-safe bowl. Add butter and milk. Don’t stir.

Microwave for 2 minutes. Stir immediately until completely combined. Add sprinkles. Do not overmix as sprinkle colour may bleed.

Spread into greased pan. Refrigerate for at least one hour.

* Makes one 6 x 6” container, or double for an 8 x 8” pan.
** Notes: If the batter comes out too runny, stir in about 1 tsp or sugar or cake mix at a time until stiff. If too thick to stir in all components, slowly add 1/2 tsp of milk at a time, but batter should be thick!

My New Room

Over the summer, I re-did my whole room. The purple and green went away and the yellow and gray came out!!! I recently put on the finishing touches (like picture frames and quotes) and now I am done. I took before and after pictures and just wanted to show you them. I absolutely love my new room. And my curtains that my mom so proudly says she made.

First Day of School

Oh yes, the dreaded first day of school. I really only look forward to the fresh school year for the social part. Not really for the education....but whatever. This year was especially big for me because it was my first day or school in high school and seminary. I was scared at first, but was able to calm down in the morning. I don't know if it was being tired because I got up at 4:30 in the morning or the fact that I truly was calm but I was calm. I was able to make it through school and now absolutely love it!!! I love seminary too and it really is a fabulous way to start off my day. Below is a quote that I love about learning from Dieter F. Uchtdorf.

"For members of the Church, education is not merely a good idea - it's a commandment. We are to learn 'of things both in heaven and in the earth, and under the earth; things which have been, things which are, things which must shortly come to pass; things which are a thome, things which are abroad'
~Dieter F. Uchtdorf

Our lovely picture at 5:30 in the morning.

Austin, Ian, and me after school.

It was a great day and I enjoy going to school. Just happy I was able to make it past the first day.

Random Pictures

Lately I have taken pictures with my friends and I. They all have been at different times during the month and I just haven't blogged them yet. So, here they are.

I was board in some of these so I just took them at random.

My lovely friend Rachel and I.

I don't see what the big deal is about these eye pictures. Why is everyone obsessed with taking just pictures of their eyes??? I honestly don't get it. So, I decided to do the same. You know, got to stay ''hip''.
